HOW TO SEW MAGYAR BABY DRESS

It is one type of  sleeve cut in one piece with the bodice.
Chest ....
Length .....
Hands Length.......
1.                1-2;   3-4 =  1/4 chest               +1.5+hands length
2                  1-3;  2-4; =  length +  1in
3                  1-5;   4-9  = 1in
4                   1-6   =     1/4chest +1in
5                   7- 10 =    1/4 chest+1.5
6                   8-11 =  1/2 in 


Neck facing;  
1.                   1-2;  3-4   =  1/4 chest+3
2                     1-3; 2-4    =   3in; width of the neck piece
 3                  1-5; 1-6 = 1/4 chest+1
4                    5-7; 6-8 =1.5


Method of cutting;

first take the measurements no1 and fold the cloth as  in fig.2

now fold measurement of no2 like fig3

fig4 shows folding of the cloth according to the measurement

body part   -   cut along 5-6;  11-12; 9-10
neck  -   cut along 5-6;  7-8 after cutting its looks fig5 neck piece also cutting in 4 folding. remember 3-4; and 2-4 are open part of the cloth.

Method of  stitching;


put the  right side of the neck piece on the right side of the dress part and stitch it. now flip the neck piece towards the inside of the dress and sew on the folding and hem it.
sew body part 3-9  with small folding, back and front separately. in this way sew the hands' folding also 2-11

lastly join the two body parts. and the dress is ready!!!!!!!
