How to sew a new baby dress

You can sew your own baby dress/infant dress according to your baby's measurement by drafting a pattern. When you sew dresses for your baby by your own you feel so much of happiness. For the sake of your happiness, i am posting this tutorial. For dummies, it is easier to learn with small projects, so my tutorials are starting with baby dresses. I had already posted two baby dress tutorials. I hope you liked them. I will try to post sewing basics as much as possible . o.k. Let' start.
  
In this dress there are two parts. One is body part and the other one is the facing part .

Body part:   

Measurements:

Chest        =  20" 
Length       =  12" 

Drafting:

1.     1-2;   3-4       =   1/4 chest +1.5

2      1-3;  2-4;       =   length + 1"
3      1-5;   2-8       =   4"
4      1-6 ;    4-7     =   1"
                           
Neck facing  

1.                   1-2;  3-4   =    1/4 chest+2
2.                   1-3; 2-4    =    3", width of the neck piece
3.                   1-5;          =    1"
4.                   5-8; 6-7    =    1.5"
